@onepict @plexus @EC_NGI @NGIZero It's completely idiotic (to say the least) having other existing efforts & legislation in place, attempting to free the EU and domestic markets from American tech monopolies, pushing for more reliance on open source infrastructure and then choosing self-harming efforts like this CRA disaster, showing absolute ZERO understanding of how the software industry works and potentially destroying the livelihood of millions of SME software devs. The likely only winners of this legislation will be non-EU BigTech entities, the only ones able to fully comply with the proposed demands & reporting requirements... truly speechless and showing extreme lack of competence!
