Our department – the Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire Sciences Innovations Sociétés (
LISIS) – is internationally recognized in the field, and well connected to relevant EU and UN bodies. We also take part in European research infrastructures such as
RISIS, and host the
Cortext Platform used by researchers from over 40 countries. Our academic environment is a purposeful mix of practitioners of field work and of computational analyses, as we strive to put each in service to the other.
